Prior to opening Martin & Martin, LLP, Kimberly N. Martin practiced at a large international law firm representing national employers in all areas of employment law. She is now able to provide clients with the quality and service they would expect to receive at a large law firm but at reasonable rates and with more personal service.

Kimberly continues to represent employers in employment matters including litigation of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation claims, restrictive covenant litigation, and wage and hour litigation, including class and collective actions. She advises employers on various personnel issues including compliance with the FMLA, ADA, ADEA, FLSA, and Title VII; drafts handbooks and policies; drafts restrictive covenants and severance agreements; and provides training on various topics like harassment and discrimination. Kimberly conducts investigations and audits on behalf of employers such as sexual harassment investigations and wage and hour audits.

Kimberly also represents employees in select wage & hour, overtime, harassment and discrimination cases. Currently, Kimberly is representing retail sales employees in a nationwide collective action for overtime; restaurant employees in a collective action for minimum wage and overtime who participated in a tip-pool in which managers allegedly took money out of prior to distributing the tips; and employees of a check cashing business in an identity fraud and invasion of privacy class action.

Additionally, Kimberly handles general business law and commercial litigation matters. Kimberly is a member of the Georgia Bar but handles matters across the country through the affiliation of local counsel.
